Interviewing staff members creates a wealth of information that must be thoroughly analyzed. As previously described, a design methodology for analyzing data involves extracting common themes, patterns and opportunities. Once we identified these, we had to begin framing them in the correct context to be reported back to the staff. Frequently, themes identified are common within similar businesses, so referencing literature and data helps alleviate anxiety on the part of the client.
